AMSorb™- Bioresorbable Coronary Drug Eluting Stent System
AMSorb™ is a bioresorbable coronary stent fabricated from medical-grade Poly-L-lactic acid (“PLLA”) polymer utilizing our proprietary 3D-MAP technology, intended for use in PCI procedures to treat obstructive coronary artery disease. Under the 3D-MAP technology, the stent is engineered with round struts featuring circular cross-sections to optimize the stent apposition, enabling smoother embedment into the vessel wall and reducing effective strut thickness compared with conventional laser-cut rectangular struts. This geometric profile delivers hemodynamic benefits by minimizing blood flow disturbance and mechanical damage to blood cells, thereby accelerating endothelialization and reducing the risk of thrombosis while the PLLA matrix undergoes hydrolytic resorption to preserve natural vessel vasomotion.
